Registration Fees

A limited number of funds is available as financial aid for young researchers (in particular from economically developing countries). Reasons for an application should be send with the registration form by fax, mail or email until April 4^th. You will be notified if your claim is justifiable and if it has been accepted.

Payment      

Payment must accompany all registration forms and can be made by credit card (MasterCard/EuroCard, VISA) or bank transfer. Bank transfers must be received by the deadline and should be made to the following bank account:

Cancellations

Cancellations and substitutions are allowed. However, full registration fees will be charged unless a cancellation notice is sent in writing, and received or faxed before the deadline:

Until may 15^th, 2003 a € 70,-- handling fee for administration charges will be applied to all cancelled registrations. After this date no refund will be made for registrations. All refunds will be made after the conference. 

Accomodation

We prereserved some rooms in hotels of several categories. If you wish to place a reservation please provide the according information in the registration form. The details will be forwarded to Velden Touristics. They will inform you about your reservation as soon as possible.

Social program: excursions

Before (sunday, june 15^th) and after (saturday, june 21^st) the conference two excursions will be offered: "Churches & castles" and "Hiking in the hills". For details and booking please mail to Velden Touristics.

Airport shuttle

During the conference a shuttle service will be established between the Klagenfurt airport and Velden. To provide the necessary information about your flights and hotel reservation click here. The driver will charge € 15,-- per ride and passenger. Note that a regular taxi ride would cost you about € 45,--!

Attention: Holidays!

Be aware of the fact that the conference overlaps with the beginning of the holiday season. Please book your flight and hotel early!

Insurance

The conference organisation cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss of or damage to property belonging to conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own insurance.
